I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with Mike, wrapping his generators to have a much better curb appeal. Mike is a pleasure to work with and sells a top notch product!

We were stuck without power in half of our house for 12 days after a power surge. Two companies came out and couldn’t solve the issue—one even suggested an entire first-floor rewiring (!). Finally, someone recommended we reach out to Generac for help. They referred us to Mikus Electric in Volo—and thank goodness they did.

Mike got us on the schedule right away, and Roger arrived the very next morning. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and had our power back on—in 10 minutes flat. He also cleaned up the damage left behind by other electricians and the surge.

Mikus is the definition of professional, reliable, and skilled. We’ll be using them for all our electrical and generator work moving forward.

Mikus Electric did a great job for us when our generator needed servicing, both routine and to diagnose some operation issues. Requesting service thru website was easy and got a prompt response. Generator is now clean, tuned, and has updated programming. We also got some advice on how to keep it in good shape going forward. Highly recommend this business.

We had our Generac installed by a company that went out of business. When it was time for maintaining the unit, we decided to go with Mikus Electric based on the reviews here. And we were not disappointed. Mike and his team are always friendly, professional, and timely. Chris was assigned to our job and he lived up to each of those descriptions. I have no hesitation recommending Mikus Electric for your generator purchase or maintenance!

This company has been recommended to me by my two sisters who had last year generators installed in their houses using Mikus Electric & Generators. Since both sisters had very positive opinion on this company, when our old generator stopped working I called them for help.
After first inspection of our 17 years old unit we were advised to replace it with a new one, and we decided to do that. Few weeks later 2 people crew worked in our house replacing old generator with a new Generac and we like a lot their professionalism and attention to details while they did their work. Despite of the freezing temperature outside, anything which they needed to move to make space to bring to the backyard a new unit, has been placed back. The old unit has been taken out by them. The old electric connection to the inside circuit box was replaced and all was done to the code. The operation of the new unit has been presented to me and they have answered all my questions. They have earned my high recommendation to anybody who needs help on generator.

Excellent prices, service and support. They recently installed a new Generac whole house generator for us and the entire process from quote to permit approval to installation could not have gone better.
